Pure Bliss

Upon arriving home and seeing the sprinklers on, Reese wasted no time
to run through the water.

We eventually removed her shoes and let her fully embrace the inner-
child that was obviously ready to come out and frolic.

I know what we'll be doing this summer.

LOOK, a FRAWGIE

After giving our dog a bath in the backyard, Mommy busted out the
little kiddie pool. Reese has been enjoying the weather while splish-
splashing the afternoon away.

When setting up the pool we displaced one of it's residents, the
Frawgie, who has taken refuge between the slats of the fence. Reese is
enthusiastically pointing out said frog to anybody willing to listen.

Manditory Napping

Never one for napping, Reese isn't the easiest child to get to sleep
in the middle of the day. Today is no exception.

Mommy put her down at 1:00 pm, she screams until Daddy goes back in 5
minutes later, he tells her to close her eyes and go to sleep...she
naps for 1.5 to 2 hours.

In desparate situations when Reese just won't lay still (like right
now), Daddy acts as "Nap Monitor" and sits cribside with a stern look
on his face until the Nugget settles down and accepts her fate.

Chalk another one up for the Daddy...nighty-night Baby Girl.

Shhhhhhhh...

DUCKS!

We are providing nourishment to the duck population that resides at
North Florida Regional Medical Center.

Saline-ing

Reese has been getting her nose sprayed for so long that now she just
does it herself.

With both the Mommy & the Daddy fighting the flu bug, all possible
precautions are being taken to ensure that Reese's health is maintained.

Some Light Reading

Reese and Mommy are reading "Bad Dog Marley". Reese is showing me that
the puppy's tongue is out of his mouth.

Reese had her class photos today at school. Her teacher said that she
was reluctant to smile, just picture this photo minus the Marley book.

Down the Slide

Reese is even beginning to notice that she is getting bigger. The park
equipment that used to be just out of her reach are now things that
she can easily scale, climb and step up onto.

In the Sandbox

Reese is singing:
"please don't take my sunshine away"

It's Soooo On

We're at the Rockaway Grill on Clearwater Beach, one of favorite
stops, so our mini-vacation is oficially on. Beautiful weather and the
sun is setting over our shoulders...perfect.

Sky Car: Scary but Fun

Clinging to her Mother for dear life while enjoying the views of the
park from high above.

We scored Reese a 95 out of 100 for her behavior at the park today...
She was awesome!

From the Birthday

There was a request for a pic from Reese's Birthday party...more Busch
Gardens on the way.

B'dazzling

Reese is adorning the cabinets a stickers while we wait for Mommy to
get home.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Two years ago today our family grew by one. Here we are 2 years later and our love, awe and fascination for Reese has multiplied by one-million.

She has grown faster than we thought she would, but just as fast as everyone told us she would. With so much growth it's hard to capture it all but we're enjoying every minute while always looking forward to her next stage.

Here's to Reese, the best is yet to come...stay tuned!

Stopped in to see Mommy

Visiting Mommy before we head home for bedtime...tax-season is almost
over!

Post-Litter Box Activity

Gotta get ready to meet some friends at Woody's for dinner.

This is the best way to remove the sand from between butt cheeks

Playin' in the Litter Box

We inherited a sand box with the purchase of oir new house. Mommy &
Daddy don't care for it but Reese loves it.

This'll be her warm up for our trip to the beach next weekend.

Taking Inventory

Reese took part in an Easter Egg Hunt this morning with her friend
Tyce. Here they are taking stock of their booty.

In cognito...

Ready for Easter?

More art...

A little Friday afternoon creative expression. One part Reese, one
part Daddy

"How old are you going to be?"

Although the dexterity may not quite be there yet, it's obvious that
Reese knows that holding up her index & middle fingers represents how
old she will be on Monday.

Today's outfit...

Daddy had another early meeting with a landscaper so Mommy went into work slightly later than normal in order to get the Nugget ready for school. There is a definitive difference to Reese's look when Mommy readies her for the day.

All together now...
AAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Yesterday...

Reese sported another ensemble that is probably 6 months past it's
optimal fit. I'm sure I am biased, but she's still the most adorable
thing EVER!

I know what this looks like...

No, we don't ALWAYS eat out. It's just that the majority of the Reese
photos are at eating establishments because that's when she's buckled
into a chair and not able to move. All the other photos are just a
little blonde blur.

Reese and Daddy have been going over to Mommy's work right after the
Nugget get's picked up from daycare. Mommy takes a break from tax
returns and the whole family goes out and enjoys dinner together.
Afterwards, Daddy and Reese drop Mommy back off at work then head home.

Only one more week until tax-season ends, then we'll be eating at home
again.

Just finished satisfying our creative sides, now we're headed outside
for an energy burn.

Where'd the Ball Go?

One of Reese's all time favorites...the ball popper/blower thingy. A
highly recommended toy for your 1-2+ year old.

During our Walk...

We stopped off at the park for a little playground time. Mommy got home "early", so we made it a family function (dog included).

"Hi New Cousin"

We haven't had a bath shot in a while, so here's Reese in the bath...TaDa

Reese's Aunt Lynn is in labor at this very moment and Reese is in the middle of saying, "Hi new cousin!"

We're looking forward to hearing the news as soon as it comes in.

Dont'cha love it when...

...your child blurts out a word that you didn't know they knew?

Reese was just digging through a toy basket looking for a missing
ball. She came across the pictured object and I asked her, "Is that
your ball?"

She shot me a puzzled look and replied, "Not a ball Daddy, dats FuFa"

HOW DOES SHE KNOW THAT? We never use Lufas (sp?)...I don't even know
why it was in her toy box...either the kid is a genious or she just
completed the "Things You Could Find in a Bathroom" chapter of her
daycare classwork.

After School Snack

Sorry for not posting the past couple of days, the mommy and the daddy
were sidelined by a couple of 24-hr. bugs.

Trying to get back into the routine, just got home with the Nugget and
now snacking on some Goldfish.

Thankfully, our little trooper has become much more resiliant than her
parents...she hasn't slowed down one bit.
