Breakfast of Champions

You can prepare all ham-n-cheese omlets in the world, but sometimes
you just can't beat a cup of dry Cheerios.

Funny story from yesterday:
First, a little background...most days when Reese is picked up from
school and the teacher hands me her daily report sheet (it tells us of
her eating, pooping, napping, playing, etc.) Reese takes the paper and
points to it and insures me that she has taken a nap that day... It's
pretty funny.

So yesterday as Reese and I were leaving Target, the cashier hands me
the receipt. Reese snatches it out of my hand and begins to study it
intently. I asked her what it said and she quickly responded, "I TAKE
NAP!"

I hope that made you laugh as much as it did me, but I highly doubt it.

Whippin up a Lil Sumpin-sumpim

Here's the happy, post-nap Reese in her play room fixing her Daddy
some coffee.

Notice her ensemble...the hat and high heels sans pants, CLASSY!

At the Airshow

While driving home from our Saturday errands Reese & I came upon an
airshow.

We ran into some friends and had a great time.

NOTE: Reese does NOT like to be confined in the pilot's cockpit of big
scary Army Helicopters!

of excessive laughter)

Ponies

Just picked the Nugget up from school...she's rockin the ponies and on
a great mood.

Bedtime Mommy

Neosporin on the bug bites - Check!
Band aids on the Neosporin - Check!
Knots combed out - Check!

Getting ready to put on the PJs and go to bed.

We love you mommy!

$3.99, Really?

With Mommy out of town, Daddy has decided to make things easy on
himself.

All you can eat pizza, pasta and salad for only $3.99 and kids eat
free? You can't be serious!

That is one heckuva deal...as long as you can get past the dregs of
society sitting next to you in the dining room.

While Mommy is out of town, Daddy is making it easy on himself and
getting some pizza for himself and the Nugget.

That's a great deal as long as you can deal with the dirt-bags sitting
next to you in the dining room.

Still Asleep

Good morning. Reese was barely awake this morning when this photo was taken.

Getting her dressed this a.m. was made much easier due to the fact that she was very excited to wear her new shoes...that could prove expensive for us as we move forward.

Bring Yer Green Hat

This is Reese on the way home from school yesterday with her St. Patty's Day hat that she made.

Reese would also like to thank all of you who commented, called and emailed to assure us that Grandma wasn't the only one who reads "A Little Piece of Reese"

Lady Luck

Here's Reese's St. Patty's Day shirt.

She was NOT happy that Grandma was going home today. She cried as we
backed out of the garage.

3 days in a row

Back at the local park for some more energy burnin'

BBQ Time

Tryin out the new BBQ place literally 1.5 miles from the house.

This post may be in vain seeing as the only person who reads this blog
is here at dinner with us.

Foods here gotta go.

Visitin' Mommy

Went out for breakfast, picked up some new furniture that we ordered
and we just stopped in at Mommy's office for a quick visit.

Reese-ism:
*with a very surprised look on her face*
"DADDY, I almost pooped"

Spring has Sprung

Just gettin' going here... Reese was pretty unwavering about wearing
the flip-flops today, good thing the weather is finally acting more
spring-like.

Grandma is coming to visit today so we've got some straightening up to
do...but maybe we'll go for some breakfast first.

Dinner Time

Friday Bike Trip

I picked Reese up early, we packed up dinner, jumped on the bike and
took off.

We ran a couple of errands, now we're at the park. We're going to have
a pic-nic on a minute and hopefully mommy will meet us up here before
we get back on the bike and head home

Showin' some Leg

Here is Reese this morning in the parking lot of the day care just before we went inside.

You know when you come across some random article of clothing that your child has only worn maybe once (if at all)? And you know when that article of clothing has already been outgrown?

Well that is how Reese came to wear this little red number. I saw it in the closet, didn't really recognize it and realized it was for a 12 month old. Reese outgrew 12-month-old-clothes when she was about 6 months old...oops.

Sure, Reese is showin' a bit more leg than normal, and those shoes may not quite fit that well anymore (I brought her Crocks just in case)...but darn it, I'm gunna get one last use out of that thing before it joins the copious amount of other ill-fitting clothes stored in one of the ten-thousand big plastic bins at our house.

The Bathing Beauty

We did dinner, we hit up the park, we came home and played with dog in the back yard, now we're taking a bath. Next we'll throw on some PJs and get ready for bed. That's a solid three hours for a Thursday
evening.

We'll see you in the morning.

Dinner Time

At Schlotzsky's for dinner...mommy's working late tonight.

Good Morning

Up earlier than usual today. Reese is waiting for me to finish getting
ready so it will be her turn.

Reese wants to say something...
Hb. CSgdszzz mjv zVv m b b .&)76)!&@!!?!)?$)787)fhmkjh

... She likes the way it "clicks" when you type.

Ouch, That Smarties

The unfortunate side effect of the antibiotic that Reese is taking for
her sinus infection is a raging diaper rash that brings her to tears
at the very mention of a diaper change.

The most effective cure for the unavoidable melt down from said diaper
change is roll of Smarties.

On our way to school

Another morning, another ride pointing out "koo bus" (school bus),
"big poo" (YMCA pool) and "big truk" (18-wheeler).

After school play

Reese had a great day at school today. No effects of last weeks fever.

When I picked her up today, she grabbed my face, looked me in the eyes
and assured me she took a nap today (something we stress to her on a
regular basis), "DADDY, I took nap...DADDY, I took nap!!!"

Mobile test

In light of the underwhelming amount of new posts on this site, I will
be attempting to update you on the latest Reese info via my iPhone.

If this works...y'all can expect a much more steady flow of postings
(allbeit short).

Fingers crossed.

This was how Reese looked the moment she woke up this
morning...literally THE moment.

Enjoy...
